It's been awhile...

Yeah,I know I haven't updated the blog for a hot minute.But,I'm going to step up the posts in the months to come.So,I will actually be a somewhat productive artist(For once.)Just you wait and see.

So,what's been going on?

Work,mainly.With the my horrible schedule at my job it has all but killed my social life and is slowly eating at my creative will.But,this is where I make my stand.This is where I'll start post more content in the last couple of months of this year and more in 2012.

It's Monday..."Ready to get shit done!"(Take 2)

So,I posted a picture from a favorite local Mexican restaurant of a shot of tequila that a friend got me as we ate dinner.At the time I thought nothing of it as I down it.But,when I picked up my sketch pad to do some warm drawing,I felt suddenly "off kilter".I was in no condition to be creative."It was just one shot." You say.But,tequila and I have had a "I consume it and then it makes me feel like complete shit" type of relationship.I've learned my lesson now.I will not drink shots of tequila before drawing.From now on I stick to coffee,water,or really good beer.

This I promise...Or at least until I disappoint you all.

It's Saturday and my vacation starts today?Hells to the yeah!

Just got back from the gym.The workout wasn't quite good as I hoped it would be.It's probably because the person I was going to work out with cancelled and I lost motivation just a bit.(Also,as of the yesterday,I haven't been to sleep,yet.)So,I kind of just went through the motions.This session at the gym wasn't worthy of the name of "Luke Cage".But,you best believe I'll hit it hard tomorrow.Like ob Luke and Jessica Jones' first date.

Probably not that intense.But,you get the meaning.

Now,what's on tap today?Oh,yeah!I've got to re-do that Black Adam sketch.I'll get that done after I clean the apartment and go to Target.

Hopefully,at the end of the week I can get some sequential pieces up since I'll be on vacation.

I did this afternoon.

I was lunch and I decided that I wanted to sketch Black Adam.

While I was waiting for my food at lunch today I decided to take out my sketchbook and draw Black Adam.I don't why I chose to do this particular character.Maybe it was because "Black Adam" is one of the coolest names that I ever heard for a villain.Anyway,I'm going to use this sketch for inking practice.But,I felt I probably could have done better.Oh,well...there's always tomorrow.

Today,Friday,1-28-1:Brainstorming

Since I'm going to have a big weekend of penciling for various projects I'm working on I figured I would take today to just kick some ideas around.Got some material that's really solid.Other stuff is still a bit incomplete and needs work.Also,I'm reviving an short feature that I wrote last February that I think is pretty good and I'll get to work on that later next week.

Right now,I've got to kill off this hunger.I'm going to get some lunch.
